ANEMOSONICTM UA6

TOMORROWS' TECHNOLOGY TODAY

Having led the world for over 40 years in Airflow instrumentation we are proud to introduce: -

The future in Air Flow Instrumentation.

THE ANEMOSONICTM UA6

"Airflow measurement at an ultrasonic speed"

The ultrasonic technology used in the UA6 never needs re-calibration as the sensor is unaffected by airstream temperature, pressure or air/gas density

(limited only by materials of manufacture)

The UA6 measures air velocity, volume flow and airstream temperature with readings displayed in m/sec, ft/min, mph, knots, kph, cfm, m©ø/sec, ¡ÆC or ¡ÆF, all in one hand held instrument.

Having researched and developed our own unique ultrasonic technology, Airflow now offers a world first in accurate measurement for clean air and inert gas flows using a truly compact 3 pole sensor that is less than 60 mm (2.4") in diameter.

Two unique features are the rapid speed of response achieved through over 3,600 readings being taken every second and the ability to read and display percentage flow turbulence. Percentage turbulence is now being recognised as a necessity when ensuring indoor comfort levels and air quality.

With a reading response rate of less than one millisecond the AnemosonicTM UA6 ensures unequalled repeatability and accuracy in a hand held instrument offering a world beating measuring range from 0.01 m/sec (2ft/min) to 50 m/sec (9850 ft/min).

The UA6 is virtually maintenance free and can be used in damp or mildly dusty atmospheres. The three pole sensor configuration is self compensating so that even with a 40¡Æspread (¡¾ 20¡Æ) from the airstream centreline accurate measurements are still guaranteed. This superb yaw & pitch characteristic (see Tech Topic I001) makes for an invaluable instrument.

The UA6 has a built in list of user friendly options allowing everything from simple testing to long term monitoring and with the in built RS232 output, the units' readings are down loadable into a WINDOWS¢ç format for on going processing and recording.

Calibrated to an Internationally recognised standard the UA6 is supplied with a FREE TRACEABLE CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE and a reply card is also included for purchasers to register with our FREE annual calibration reminder service where an annual check is required.

All Airflow?instruments including the UA6 are designed to help meet the stringent requirements of the Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Building Regulations in the UK.
