Accuracy
The Velometer has a taut band suspension and a counter-balanced pointer
to provide a rugged yet highly sensitive movement:
• Accuracy is ±2% of full feet per minute scales and 5% on the
static pressure scales.
• Meter can be held in virtually any position and still give
accurate readings.
Broad
Range— 50 to 10,000 (and 0 to 10" w.g.)
The Model 600 AP Velometer has seven scales as shown below, five feet
per minute scales and two inches water gauge static pressure scales.
• Easy to change ranges
• 5" arc on top scale
• Direct reading, correction factors necessary only in extremes of
altitude or temperature
• Equivalent metric scales also available
Exclusive Range
Selectors
Range changes are easy to make with the Alnor Range Selector. For
instance, if the pointer goes off scale at 1250 fpm, a simple
thumb-slide adjustment brings the instrument on to the 0-2500 fpm scale;
and back again when readings fall below 1250.
• Range selections for 0/1250 and 0/2500 fpm
• Also for 0/5000 and 0/10,000 fpm
• Low flow probe for 0/300 fpm
• All probes interchangeable without recalibration (including
probes purchased later)
