The EDRA 6 is an electronic instrument which provides direct readout of air velocity.
The EDRA 6 is an electronic instrument which provides direct readout of air velocity. Models are available in analog form, equipped with a high quality taut-band moving coil meter. A 4" or a 1.4" diameter rotating vane measuring head is supplied with a handle and extension rods for use where access is limited. The instrument is powered by disposable batteries that can also be operated from the main supply with a battery eliminator. The electronic output socket gives 0.1 mA forced current on each velocity range. This facility may be used for a variety of purposes such as recorder-drive remote display via a duplicate readout, alarm triggering or to initiate alarm control functions. The EDRA 6 is provided with a recorder output which can be used to provide a recorder trace over a period of time by using the optional output converter as an interface to drive a datalogger or similar device.
